As part of an organizational transformation process, we are adding an account management layer to our Client Services Department. Thus we are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager with a marketing agency background to assist us in this process.  You will play a central role in the business and will be pivotal to the smooth running of your account(s). You will be required to have a thorough understanding of all areas of the business, and be responsible for client development, strategy, overall delivery of clients campaigns and projects from brief to final delivery on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards. You will be client-focused and require good communication, organization, and time management skills to manage both your clients and internal departments, while always focusing on quality, process, and profitability.

Role responsibilities

  • Be trusted advisor to the client and help him grow
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders across the business and supporting your day to day clients in all aspects
  • Servicing selected clients on integrated projects in the areas of branding, digital, creative, and social media
  • Leading the client through the delivery process – showing flexibility and providing practical advice to achieve a solution
  • Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their requirements and acting as the link between the client and agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively
  • Striving to build strong client relationships (especially at senior levels) and having regular connections with them outside of scheduled meetings
  • Presenting, alongside agency colleagues (particularly the Strategic Team and leading Project Manager), the project ideas/design to the client
  • Identifying opportunities with clients to push boundaries, tackle their business needs, and convince them to invest in alternative solutions
  • Ensuring the profitability and growth of client accounts
  • Responsible for meeting monthly / yearly revenue target 
  • Deep diving into the brand’s categories and understanding the details of each. And thus, maintaining a detailed awareness of relevant market trends affecting their accounts, and developments in the wider advertising and communications industry
  • Clearly communicating and supporting the Creative team with the client’s brief, ensuring the client’s voice is not lost, but the creative boundaries are still pushed
  • Demonstrating a full understanding of the creative process – managing expectations and time pressures, including managing creative resourcing
  • Establishing an excellent “eye” for creative output, recognizing strong creative work and when work could be improved
  • Negotiating with clients and agency staff about the details of the project
  • Overseeing client reports; project trackers and project-related documentation, and the general running of the operational business within the agency
  • Supporting the project teams to successfully resolve problems and difficult client situations

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience working closely with clients in an Account Manager or similar role, preferably in an agency
  • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Design, or a related field
  • Integrated marketing experience (Digital, ATL & BTL production)
  • Ability to quickly immerse in brands, problem-solve and make an immediate impact on workflow and creative output
  • Smooth team operations with flawless execution of projects on time, on budget, and with excellence.
  • The ability to host clear, efficient, and productive project meetings for differing stages of the project from kick-off, discovery, and so on, using a project methodology
  • Strong client-facing experience
  • Understanding of up to date digital technology and agile project management processes
  • Experience in developing commercial web pages is a big +
  • Previous consulting experience or working in an advisory capacity to the Client is a +
  • Great command of written and spoken Polish (native) & English (fluent - you will work directly with international clients)
  • Ease to engage with clients, counsel them, offer solutions, negotiate, and capitalize on opportunities
  • Ability to communicate and influence credibly and effectively at the executive level


Nice to haves

  • Certificate in agile/scrum project management
  • Experience in developing opportunities in various markets and delivering aggressive growth in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to create campaigns that deliver increased traffic and revenue
  • Proven experience in tracking and reporting on successful ROI
