The revised 2020 strategy took us deeper into the eCommerce field and D2C brands and this is the direction we will continue, however, our main verticals are FMCG, B2B (production, industry 4.0), technology, beauty & health.

2020 brought Funktional a 100% Y/Y growth. We aim to repeat this success and scale the company in 2021 by another 100%. In order to achieve this goal, we need to strengthen the business development team. That's why we are looking for an ambitious and skilled New Business Manager, who will give us the edge we need to make this happen. You will be responsible for the whole process starting with prospecting, first contact with potential clients, understanding their business goals and problems, briefing, proposal preparation, closing the deals up until after-sale support. You will have our client service, marketing, design, development, and admin teams available to help you in every way possible. All processes within the company, especially the sales process is well documented and supported with templates for every step.
We are looking for someone who has a consultative approach, can empathize, and go deep to build a real connection with the client. On average we close 19% of the deals we qualify, so our marketing efforts are now being transitioned into an ABM (Account-Based Marketing) approach and sales will also be aligned with this approach. What this means is that we are focusing on a limited list of potential clients that fit our sweet spot. We are looking for quality, not quantity.
