New Business Manager

Job description

We are looking for an ambitious and skilled New Business Manager, who will strengthen the sales team. You will be responsible for prospecting, first contact with potential Clients with a goal to learn and understand their problems. At Funktional we are all about resolving those problems and helping our Clients achieve their goals.

Most of all, you should love what you do — be ready to bring your enthusiasm to every call, email and meeting. We want a highly motivated self starter and a "doer". Someone who will give 100% to grow personally and thus deliver  the results we are looking for. You should see problems and obstacles as projects to complete and a way to grow. 

If chosen, you will be responsible for

  • Creating contact lists based on ideal Client persona, so a lot of research and data mining
  • Finding and identifying new leads using a wide range of marketing tools (ex. Albacross, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Growbots, etc) 
  • Reaching out to prospects via email, social media and other tools (ex. Woodpecker, Linkedin + Dux soup)
  • Conducting discovery calls and presenting
  • Qualifying prospects 
  • Managing the sales process with Pipedrive CRM (if it's not in the CRM, it didn't happen)
  • Contributing to Funktional’s business development strategy

Depending on your skills and area of expertise it's possible to extend the scope to include closing deals. In such case you will need an extensive knowledge of marketing and branding related topics. 

Remote work

Due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, we've switched fully to remote work. The current global crisis doesn't influence the pace or schedule of the recruitment & onboarding processes, though they will be done using digital tools and most probably the work itself will start as a remote position. We do hope that the situation will soon change for the better, so at some point there will be a possibility to join the team in our office. However, we will consider long-term remote arrangements.

Job requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in active selling or business development, preferably marketing/digital services
  • Working knowledge of outbound marketing (in creative or IT industry)
  • 1+ year of practice in using online marketing to fire up leads' interest 
  • Experience with sales CRM software
  • Very good work organization, time management and planning skills
  • Great written and verbal communication skills 
  • Great command of written and spoken English 
  • Great command of written and spoken Polish 
  • Analytical skills

Nice to haves

  • Experience with international clients
  • Passion for advertising, design and new technologies
  • Knowledge of more than one foreign language

Details of employment

  • Base salary + commission + bonuses for reaching KPI's
  • Preferable form of employment is a B2B contract but other forms are also possible
