Funktional is an award-winning agency that provides strategic branding services combined with handcrafted digital solutions to multi-national companies worldwide. Some of our clients include UNICEF, AON, Maspex (Kubuś, Alcalia, Tymbark, Decomorreno, Tarczyn), Bielenda, Tupperware, Telefonika, 3DGence, Bratex, Link4,  and many others. 

From strategy workshops, through a broad range of print and digital design services to full brand & digital product development processes + growth. The revised 2020 strategy took us deeper into the eCommerce field and D2C brands and this is the direction we will continue, however, our main verticals are FMCG, B2B (production, industry 4.0), technology, beauty & health. It is also worth mentioning that we are a part of the United Nations Global Compact initiative and we do our best to work with conscious brands that feel the responsibility they hold over the natural environment and shaping the society.

2020 brought Funktional a 100% Y/Y growth. We aim to repeat this success and scale the company in 2021 by another 100%. In order to achieve this goal, we need to strengthen the marketing team. That's why we are looking for an ambitious and skilled B2B Marketing Manager who will take full ownership of all marketing & growth operations for Funktional. You should have a solid background in B2B marketing, working across the full funnel and preferably previous experience in Account Based Marketing.

Initially, you will have one main client to handle (Funktional), a lot of freedom, and complete responsibility for the full funnel. 

A successful candidate will help us to develop the strategy and be able to implement it with full support from other teams.  You should be able to take over all topics related to our brand image, including web presence, media relations, content production (social media, blog, newsletter, podcast/clubhouse chats, video, etc.) but most importantly develop and grow the funnel. 

In the coming months, we are launching a brand redesign process, including communication update across all channels and a website redesign process that you will potentially spearhead. 

If this sounds like you, and you are a T-shape marketer with a passion for marketing and technology, have a track record in B2B lead prospecting & nurturing, growth marketing, paid social advertising, SEM, CRO, marketing automation, content marketing, know your way around social and crave the ability to do something out of the ordinary, then you might be the person we're looking for.

If chosen, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing brand & marketing communications strategies for Funktional and our clients. Creating and governing marketing funnels, testing, and optimization
  • Coordinating marketing efforts to boost brand awareness and increase traffic on Funktional's and our client's communication channels
  • Generating and nurturing high-quality leads
  • Developing and managing inbound campaigns from launch through to successful completion
  • Managing and improving paid media, social media, and content marketing together with our team
  • Content production coordination: photo, video, blog, newsletters
  • Preparing press releases and nurturing media relations
  • Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for digital marketing activities
  • Continuously monitoring marketing performance, market impact, setting KPIS and monitoring and optimizing ROI
  • Researching the market to identify key trends, new markets and opportunities for growth
  • Planing and supporting employer branding activities
  • Participating in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience. Preferably in the Agency environment or a B2B digital services company. 
  • Understanding of B2B Marketing and Demand Generation across full funnel
  • Experience in building marketing funnels tailored to target groups and customer's purchasing stage, generating B2B leads, and driving ROI through digital channels  
  • Project management skills in agile methodology
  • Skills to implement the analytical ecosystem and present ROI from marketing activities
  • Both regional and international experience is necessary (if you only worked in Poland but feel good about scaling up, apply)
  • Ability to work based on KPIs and OKRs in the Data-Driven Marketing Model
  • Analytical skills and support for tools such as Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
  • Understanding of customer segmentation, journey mapping, and value proposition
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as Activecampaign, Marketo, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Zapier etc. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the specifics and algorithms in Social Media (Linkedin, Facebook) and portals such as Clutch
  • Dynamic and entrepreneurial approach to tasks and responsibilities, showing a can-do attitude, challenge and goal-oriented
  • Able to work independently and with limited supervision, highly self-motivated, and able to effectively manage various competing priorities and time-management
  • Openness and communicativeness
  • Understand the concept of T-shape marketer
  • Willingness to go above and beyond what's required, learn, adapt, and excel
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Fluency in spoken and written Polish (native level)

Nice to haves

  • Good track record in PPC, especially for B2B segment (potentially eCommerce)
  • Track record and ability to conduct Growthhacking campaigns
  • Light pen - independent creation of valuable content, the ability to adapt the style to the medium
  • Knowledge of the process and tools for organizing webinars and podcasts
  • Proven Client-facing CX focus
  • High competency in networking, team building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong technical expertise, ease with technical concepts, and ability to acquire technical know-how quickly.
